I would have no problem with a guest worker program if everyone played by the rules. But the way government is run in today's world we get a wink and a slap and its business as normal and then American citizens can not compete with people making less than min wage, those that are getting free food free housing free schooling free transportation. Total agreement from me. If people are willing to pay a coyote $2k, we should be able to create a legal means and let the marketplace price it. My concern is that those who are on a waiting list and doing it legally should be shown preference or be rewarded for doing it right. Equitable treatment is important. Likewise, those that illegally crossed should be penalized. Economically. I do not want to build additional holding facilities and hire government guards.
