I have no problem with people coming to America to stay for a better life. My problem is with me paying for it As long as the aliens continue to get free healthcare, free education, and are paid less than Americans then the problem will not go away. If the government would arrest companies CEO's that hire these people for less then min wage, the companies that do not pay any Soc Sec. tax on these workers, the companies that do not take medicare, or state taxes out of their pay then 3/4ths of the problem would go away because if you raise the wage the employers would find that there are plenty of Americans that will do the work for a decent pay. Sure the prices of things would go up some but our taxes would drop. Also companies would be less likely to accommodate the different lang. it would be an added cost. English would again become the national lang by default. Mexican workers would have a stake in our economy if they had to pay taxes they would want a voice in how that money is spent and would work to become citizens of the USA. They would be treated fairly in the country and would see the difference from their home in sweeping colors. Some would stay and some would travel back home and start political movements that may bring up their standard of living. It all comes down to taking the profit motive out of the equation. The employers would still hire at min wage but the demand would level off some.

Good logic. I believe that we see this in identical terms. I am going to hold my congresscritters' feet to the fire to develop the proper legislation or enforcement procedures to "git er done". Even if that means I have to choke down some form of a guest worker program. It is that important.
