I majored in drama in college...when I pledged Alpha Phi Omega (a service fraternity related to the boy scouts), one of my instructors told me I might as well quit the drama department right then. It took me three semesters, but when a director of one of the plays told me I had the lead in the Glass Menagerie", I thought things might work out. But then she made it pretty clear she expected things personally from me that I wasn't willing to give.
There were a couple of nice folks in the drama department I was a part of, but the rest, including the instructors, were some seriously messed-up individuals. I always thought it was interesting that when they couldn't make it in the drama department, many of the students changed their majors to psych.
I ended up being a registered nurse and now the only time my drama history is used is when I'm reading to the jedis in the evening! Heh heh!

I did think that from the beginning, yes. The theater angle, though, I would never have thought of. Stupid boys. I'm sure they taped this, and the tapes will soon show up.
