In this photo released Wednesday, March 8, 2006, by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Russell Lee DeBusk Jr., is shown. i think Grayson Valley is in the Jefferson County school system in some places or the Trussville school system. Huffman is a Birmingham City school, mostly black now, but it was white some years back. Rueben Studdard went there.
Hoover is mostly white with pockets of Mexicans and blacks. Not as rich as Mountain brook, but it has some nice areas. Bart Starr lives in Hoover.
I think one of the kids is from Indian Springs, which is in Shelby COunty, about two blocks outside of Hoover. He went to Indian Springs I think I heard. It's a private boarding and day school.

(Above right) Russ DeBusk, a freshman theatre major from Hoover, works on part of the set for All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.
Carmen Adams, FBI special agent in charge, said the suspects each face up to five years in prison for each of nine church fires. The 10th fire, in Lamar County, is still under investigation.
This is not a hate crime, Adams said. They were excited by the fact there were fires.

The three suspects had their own pages on Facebook.com, a networking Web site for college and high-school students. In the area on Mr. Moseley's page where visitors can post messages, alongside more than 12 expressing shock at the arrests and promising to pray for the accused, was one that Mr. Cloyd posted on Jan. 9.

"At first I was so mad I just wanted to whip 'em," said Jim Parker, pastor of the Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield, Alabama, which was burned to the ground. "But now it almost brings tears to my eyes at what these young men have thrown away. ... It is very sad."

Several of the churches had their doors kicked in and their pulpits set ablaze. All were Baptist churches, the predominant denomination in the region.
Green County Sheriff Johnny Isaac said he had been confident the Lord would take care of the perpetrators.
"I hoped that the Lord would let us have them first," Isaac said. "If they get life, it won't be enough."

Are you a local producer?: No, I am not
If yes, what town are you a local producer for?:
If no, would you be interested in becoming a local producer?:
Yes, but I need more information.
What do you think about our new site?:
I'm glad the site has a lot more info than the old one. It gives more insight into the workings of the station.
Comments: I want to publicly thank Mr. Suire for having Troop 306 come to visit the studio this past Thursday. All of the scouts learned a lot, and we were given the opportunity to learn hands-on how to operate the equiment and direct a shoot. I recommend that anyone interested in film - or the Cinematography merit badge, in our case - should go visit the studio. Thanks again, Mr. Suire!

Matt Cloyd is from Indian Springs. Russell DeBusk's family lives in Hoover and lived in Dallas/Plano, TX, previously, as well as Brunswick/Strongsville, OH. Ben Moseley is the one whose father is a constable in Jefferson County - they live in Grayson. Moseley is a Sigma Nu and has won an award in the Theater Department.
There is a website for someone from Birmingham who is acting in L.A. and Moseley posted on the guy's site a couple of times - the 2nd time when he was 15, saying he was sorry he didn't return the actor's call when he came to B'ham (lol) and he hoped he'd come by to see him next time. He said he was "still into his acting" and that he (himself, Moseley) is a 15-yo Jim Carrey. Sorry, I can't remember the guy's name whose website I found that on this afternoon - last name was Robertson.
Reminds me of a line from "Deliverance"--"Boy you shore got a pretty mouth".. I'm sure he'll be subject of a lot of "me first" fights in prison....
Why not? There must be several Cooters at Birmingham-Southern. And those are just the professors.
Thanks for the info.
Oh, I didn't see the date on that last entry until just now. Matthew Cloyd is 20 and is still a Boy Scout? Hmmm.
B'ham Southern is Liberal ?I thought it was a Methodist school? I know that it has very high academic standards.
*Wringing hands Mr. Burns style*
Excellent..
Squeal like a pig!
My mother's maiden name is Fortune. Very Irish from cook. There are about 100 Fortune familiesin the U.S. and the majority are black. Don't guess a race based on a last name
What's with the rope? I looks like it is tied around his wrists and looped around the neck. Methinks Mr. Ben likes getting people to do crazy things.
I wonder if the next picture shows the girlfriend sitting on the bike and Mr. Ben showing signs of great pain. All for the picture and the fun! (Sarcasm button locked)
I just checked your profile and it had a Pat Metheny album on it. 20 years I have been listening to him. Hear hear!
Ritalin-free. Hmm. Whaddayaknow.
