More importantly. What were the National Ratings and the breakdown by geography?

I haven't seen "March of the Penguins." Is it any good? Might rent it if it is. Rent it. The penguins have more regard for their young than many people. They risk their own lives to protect their offsprings' right to life.

I've always had a hard time seeing Clooney as a sex symbol. My first memory of him was as a regular on "Rosanne," playing the homely Jackie's sensitive boyfriend.
BTW, speaking of the oscars, did anyone else have a hard time first recognizing Jennifer Lopez? She always had a distict broad nose. I think her nose shrunk.

Not attend? I remember seeing a film of her acceptance speech.
To: Tanniker Smith
she's beautiful, even 7 months pregnant.
I wouldn't use the qualifier, because I think all of these actresses who have been pregnant have looked even more beautiful than usual. It's very flattering to them, to have the glow and the full face, and no one's going to begrudge their weight!

I disagree, I think the stuffed penguins were great. Certainly more appropriate than the big striped bow ties.

Apropos of the film, a friend of mine says that he can not believe in God after that film, unless He is unusually cruel and callous.
To: Austin Willard Wright
If you read my next comment you would see I corrected myself...she did attend, but was forced to sit in the back by herself...I corrected myself..but thanks for catching the error.

Hey, sorry about the mixup, she did attend the awards...but she was forced to sit in the back by herself...I got my facts mixed up, she wasn't allowed to attend the premier of the movie...sorry for the confusion.

I think your friend's reaction is a little extreme, "nature red in tooth and claw", it's a big bad world out there. Still doesn't mean it's all a big freak accident.

There was a lot not to like, granted. I watched results on the Internet. My wife was occasionally peeking at the show but I strictly forbid the kids from watching! (They know all about the leftist agenda, but, hey, those guys' kids--if they have any--won't sit around watching our shows if their parents [or "guardians"] can avoid it!)

You should tell him about how evil the devil is, and stop blaming God.So it's the devil that made life tough for penquins! Boy, that guy really gets around.
