Hippy Parents. Joaquin was named something else - like Leaf or Rainbow or something hippy-ish - but changed it to a real name.

There is also a Rain, a Summer, and a Liberty in the family. Joaquin went by Leaf early on in his acting career.

Who names their kids River and Jouquin???Hippies in a commune. I kid you not, when the kids were little they lived with their parents in a commune. They have a couple of brothers and sisters with equally weird names that I can't remember right now.
But, then I named one of my daughters, Misty and I don't even have the excuse of being a drugged out hippie. :)
