Reason the Oscars Will Suck Like Monica Lewinsky's Hoover this Year.

• The weakest field of choices for Best Picture I've seen in a long time. Maybe ever.
• The PC natures of all the choices.
• The apparent coronation of Brokeback, killing all suspense.
• The blacklisting of Sin City.
• The failure to nominate Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith in 'Best Visual Effects' Whatever you say about that flick and Lucas's behavior, it did merit a nomination in that category.
• Paradise Now.
• Nominating a rap song about 'pimping.'
• John Stewart.
• The nauseating smugness that will radiate from the TV if I DID watch it!
