Alright CRASH! I knew it. I'm so glad. Brokeback just wasn't that good. How many awards did it end up with? Two? Nicholson looked like the cat that ate the canary!
FWIW, my brother saw Brokeback last week, and despite the grand scenary, he found the gay love affiar undeveloped and unconvincing. He found the movie to be a disappointment. Hearing that, I thought Crash might get it. We watched that together, and were both impressed, at its quirky subtle effect.
