The UIA is basically right now ruled by Tehran. They have no desire to negotiate to form a national unity government. They want all power in Iraq and if they don't get it they are going to use their militias and Iranian help to try to get it. We are against them having all power and resorting to Saddam's tactics so now they want us out of Iraq.

When President Talabani found out what Jaafari and Sadr have been up to he finally got on board with demanding Jaafari be removed.

The Iranian puppets are going to very soon demand we leave Iraq because we are in their way of total political and military control of Iraq. However, there call with have no legitimcy because they are not 50% of Iraq. The the Kurds, the Sunnis, and Allawi have 53% of the seats even though the UIA cheated their ass off in the election.

ITM has a good report up for today. http://iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/

The sunnis are going to learn to love us before this is over. We're all that stands between them and Tehran.

Well, hopefully Iran will soon no longer be causing any problems...I would tell the Turks to go pound sand.

Yes. I read Omar earlier on. At least it is now out in the open. Assuming the source is accurate, perhaps enough of Iraqi across the sectarian/cultural divide, shall see clearly what the UIA is up to.
We have not yet seen the reactions to millions of Iraqi that would want no part of Turkish troops in their land. They know only to well, they will never be treated better then the American,British,Australian, and coalition forces. The Turks have nothing to offer them but a bayonet at their adam apple. I think if this story turns out to be accurate, we may see the UIA's hopes dashed to pieces.
Can you imagine the majority of Kurds and Sunni wanting Turks to bring down the insurgency. Let alone a lot of Shia who probably will wonder what the hell is going on. Hey, if the Americana go, who is going to do all these nice things for us. They know only to well Turkey will not.
Of course, this may be misinformation. Let us remember Turkey is no longer governed by a theocracy. And just who is going to sink all those bucks into Iraq as America is doing?

Alliences are shifting because the Sunnis are starting to realize what a shitty position they are in and that we are the only thing between them and being butchered by pro-Iranian militias. And, the UIA is deeply pissed at us that we won't let them turn Iraq into Iran jr.

The turks used to keep Iraq as a colonial possession in the ottoman empire up until the first world war I believe. If they think we are imperialist American dogs they most certainly are not going to look to turkey as there "Liberator". But hey if the turks want to relieve us by all means.

Iran will try to make up for some of the difference they gave a billion yesterday.

But, the UIA leaders have become so disconnected from the Iraqi public that it is a joke. They no more care about the Iraqi people then Ahmadinejad cares about the Iranian people. All they care about is power and we are currently in the way of their dreams of total power in Iraq.

Perhaps we shall see some major shifts come about soon. Obviously we have not started to debate so many issues that Iraq would probably loose out on.
Clowns like Jaffari and Sadr, Hakim etc., could give a wee less for a future Iraq, fully vested into the western world's trade ciruit. They as soon as keep the people all poor, keep the oil productions to a limit etc.. In short, introduce their version of Shara into the country and be damn with any idea of western values or democracy.
But as usual, tis easy to start to knee jerk. Taint over until the fat lady sings.

If Iran goes nuclear we will become alot of peoples best friends. The Sunni Arabs, Europe and many of the former Soviet republics will have to align with us. The Iraqi Shiites will have to make a decision. Are they Arab Muslim who are Shiite or are they Iranian Shiite puppets.

Yeah, this one is sounding like typical Turkish self pride mixed with that Valley of the Wolves euphoria. Even if the PM hated us, I can't imagine he wouldn't see the threat to his hide, should he replace the U.S. with Turkish national security. The Iraqi's would have their version of a bastille day within a week.

I'm not sure I'm ready to believe that Jaafari is that stupid. I know the Iraqis aren't that stupid. The Iranians are kicking the Arab Iranians off their land, don't you know that their relatives who are in Iraq know about this?

Does anybody think that if the Turks came in, they would give the Iraqis a dime of the money from the oil wells? Do they think they would ever get the Turks back out?
