Since that article was written new evidence seems to indicate it's possible for the Rodgers Creek Fault to rupture along with the Hayward creating a massive 7.3 shock running all the way north of San Pablo Bay.

And also new paleoseismic evidence indicates the Rodgers Creek Fault is overdue.
