As long as kids are socializing with other kids in outside events, why is this a bad development?

why is this a bad development? "bad" from whose point of view?
The schools lose money. The teachers lose face. The admins lose their arguments.
Not that that's a BAD thing...

As long as kids are socializing with other kids in outside events...Exactly. I have some homeschooled kids in my neighborhood. They don't even know the meaning of sh%$, da%$, m%^he& f^&(er, su%& me, eat &%. Where are they supposed to learn this stuff if they are not exposed to older hoodlums?

As long as kids are socializing with other kids in outside events, why is this a bad development?Once again...your post reminds me of what we told people when we were asked ..if we were concerned with our HS'ed kids socialization.
Got to the point I always said..."Yes, very. That's why we HS."

As long as kids are socializing with other kids in outside events,And even this is WAY over rated. I homeschooled. My kids got together with other kids (and most of the time it wasn't kids their own age) maybe once a week. They have grown into very responsible adults, because they were around responsible adults mostly, raising their own children now.
