Is that the one that Lee Atwater owned?

One of the original founders was Tennessee Congressman (and later Governor) Don Sundquist. don't know about Atwater, though.

Found this in a search: Taking their name from Dewey Phillips’ legendary WHBQ Memphis radio show of the 1950’s, the first Red, Hot & Blue opened in 1988 in Arlington, Virginia. The rhythm-n-blues-n-bar-b-que-bistro was the brainchild of four Washington, D.C. businessmen, including former Tennessee Congressman and Governor Don Sundquist. Lee Atwater was also among the original investors who helped turn the Red, Hot & Blue idea into reality.

As Atwater has been dead for nearly 15 years, it has, as I said, been a long time since I was there, but their food was pretty darned good.
