Kennedy up talking about what the illegals will have to do to get green card..
Does anyone here believe this stuff will get done?, especially if they are allowed to stay here...not be sent back home??
Just like you said to def...the employers will NOT be checked anymore than they are now.

There was a lot of sharing of immigration stories .. though the Dems refuse to call them illegals
McCain is worried about illegals crossing the border without any water
Mary Landrieu somehow manage to compare Hurricane Katrina with the illegal problem with her and Kerry's small business bill
Alexander had an amendment to help pay for classes so that immigrants can learn English
Inhofe had an amendment to make English the official language of the USA
Kyle & Cornyn had an amendment .. but I'm not sure what is was about (was outside with my youngest) .. but it was something about criminal illegals

I just saw a story on Brit's show about Cynthia McKinney's little scuffle yesterday with Capital Hill guard.
They said she is having a press conference tomorrow morning with her LAWYER...LOL

I co-owned a business in DC, many years ago. We had immigrants working for us. The rules were very lax! I paid my people the going rate. I was not educated in the law. I was not trying to get around the law, I simply did not know it. The immigrants would show up and actually work. The Americans track record was not the same. So! We have a problem. Had I known what I was doing was possibly against the law I would not have done it. I am sure most of these employers don't know what they are doing, if they don't educate them then enforce it.

Because they've established whole neighborhoods and cities unto themselves. Next week, I'm moving up to Ocala, FL which is way different from Miami and I'm glad of it.

We're the fourth largest city in the nation and our city is run by Hispanics. There used to be assimilation here before they became majority. Blacks, Asians, Whites are now one-third population.

BTW....I have a question: Why does C-span show Nancy Pelosi's press conferences every time she gives one...and they show Harry Reid's...
But, I can't remember when I have seen one by Frist or Boehner and Delay before that....
