THIS GUY IS SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH ANY REALITY EXCEPT HIS OWN EGO AND THE POLITICS OF HIS BLACKS FOLLOWING!
He reminds me of when Marie Antoinette used to play a milkmaid just prior to the French revolution.

If it wasn't so deadly, his behaviour would have been funny.
They allowed their fellow citizens to die, Nagin and BlankO, and then the media blamed the President.
I never ever want to hear another person lay even one iota of blame on the President unless they are prepared to allow the President to usurp the powers of any governor in an emergency, and take over that state's national guard.

Nagin should be in jail for dereliction of duty that led to the deaths of his citizens.

Either the pic is too fuzzy or my eyes are getting worse, but did he just pick the "rack" for colors? Ignoring the disgrace of the 4 stars on his "uniform", he seems to have selected some ribbons/awards from different services. I think I see a NUC, and maybe some sort of Viet Nam Army unit award. Maybe the Dog Faces can help...
To: Obadiah
Nagin has proven to be incredibly incompetent -- however, this strikes me as a genuine tribute to a hero in uniform. Then again, I've been wrong before.
To: Sam Hill
He looks like a cheesy third world dictator. Perfect!

Mayor Nagin, you are pathetic.
Do you really think this is funny? Making light of the man (a real man) who saved you a$$?
He took charge when you refused to do so.
He saved lives, while you sir sat on your brains and whined like a spoiled brat.
I hope your little stunt backfires on you and remain a laughing stock for the ages.

Good one.
Trouble is he has such a big flock of sheep. Even still.

I'm sorry, but that is total disrespect for the uniform of the US Army. Back when I went through basic and AIT, anyone impersonating an officer was subject to disciplinary actions, i.e. Article 15.

He's making mockery of the uniform by wearing it incorrectly.

I am dead serious when I ask you this: what is he trying to "say?"
"At the next hurricane hitting NOLA we will use horses for evacuations instead of the "drowned yellow sub-buses" like the beatles sang!??!

Shouldn't the Admiral himself of Nagin's Navy (submerged buses, natch) be wearing NAVY duds?

I want that horse. It's a nice looking horse. Judging from the bit it's a police horse. Nagin doesn't deserve it (and he's pulling on the poor critter's mouth, and it's looking pained but polite.)
