I ate lots of Italian, that was nothing like American pasta. I'm hypo glycemic, so I nearly died waiting for dinner to be served. I "graze" all day to keep sugar levels normal. Waiting until 10 or 11pm to eat... not good for me.
Love the Italian people from Sicily. Really old world. Such a pretty village type environment. Cars and streets VERY small.
I stayed in a castle on the mediterranean. It stormed the night I arrived. Power was knocked out. I though I was in Transylvania.
