I assume you were referring to Andrea Bocelli.That's him :) I might have to buy one of his CD. He was the highlight of the ceremonies last night.

Andrea Bocelli's latest CD is "Amore" and includes the song he sang last night at the closing ceremony: "Because We Believe". (sung partly in English and partly in Italian)
I have a several of his CDs and plan to buy this new one. I never tire of his music... :o)
