I thought we were going to hear how this man helped to liberate Torino, but Brokaw has decided to remind us how racist America was/is. Groan.
That's what I thought, too.
I am about 100% fed up with NBC. This takes the cake.
I did too. The solider was okay, but I tuned out after Brokaw's tenth or so race-baiting question. Why did this segment last an hour??? Couldn't Brokaw get in all his racial jabs in 30 minutes? I've already seen "A Soldier's Story," Tom. Yes, believe it or not, most Americans are aware of the racism that existed in America during WWII. But thanks, Tom, for beating us over the head with it again, to no apparent purpose.
