I think we need to be a little more open-minded here. There are the people who brought us GPS and men walking on the moon. They're only trying to keep us from harming ourselves by taking a shortsighted view of man's dominion over the earth. Are you really so sure you can neglect your children's future so cavalierly?

California has earthquakes, the Midwest has tornados, the northeast has snowstorms, and the Gulf coast has hurricanes. Pick your poison and deal with it.

Absolutely. Greenpissers are a contemptible bunch in my book. Those who brought GPC and Apollo program are not the same individuals who [as is the habit with greenpissers and the lefties in general] are trying to wrap themselves in the others' mantles. And BTW, the credit for an accomplishment in one field is normally NOT transferrable to another.

Don't worry, in a couple years, the SUN will be at the other end of its eleven year cycle and we'll be hearing about global cooling instead of global warming.
Oh, that's right, it's not "liberal", it's "progressive". It's not "global warming", it's "climate change".
Isn't it funny how these "scientists" use tenths of a degree to "prove" climate change, with the differential based on questionable data collected decades and centuries ago, data that didn't have this level of precision and would never pass a purely objective scientific review?
Keep screaming, Chicken Little and larger percentages of the general popluation will keep ignoring you. Or you can spend your time trying to put muzzles the biggest source of "greenhouse gases" on our planet, volcanos, and I'll be impressed...

They brought us GPS, did they now?
And by they way men are NOT walking on the moon. The past imperfect verb tense you used suggests we are still getting to the moon. We are not. We be not so being brought walking. Why? Because it was a government project and not a private one. If we had been brought space privatising rather than moon walking, we would likely today still strolling lunarly been brung, be bringing and being brought.
And GPS? Really? Are you sure?

I think we need to be a little more open-minded here. Good idea for you to follow as your post indicates a lack of research on your part. Getting all impressed by the credentials of those you quote, you swallowed up hook, line and sinker what they said without ever a thought of validating it for real.
I operate the "WeatherLab at Panama City" and I work with this on daily basis. In light of what is well-known, your post floats like a you-know-what in a punch bowl. The question is, are you going to go ahead and find out for yourself, or keep parroting items you have cherry picked that make you feel all warm and fuzzy and comfortable with your foregone conclusion?

Are you really so sure that mankind can control the weather?
