Union of Good
The Union of Good is an umbrella organization representing more than 50 Islamic fundraising groups worldwide. Originally established for the purpose of aiding Palestinians in the PA-administered territories, its operations began in October 2000, shortly after the outbreak of the ongoing violent Palestinian-Israeli confrontation. It started as a fundraising drive designed to run for 101 days, however, following its initial success it institutionalized and continues its work to this day (January 2005). Hamas leadership was involved in its foundation.

THATS POLITICS, THIS IS BUSINESS! If UAE was Israels enemy why do they do business togeather?
Many FReepers have taken sides with the Bush administration on this deal that gives DPWorld/UAE a foothold in internal commercial operations of US ports of entry. From their endless rhetoric in support of this sweetheart deal, the pro-DPWorld/UAE contingent must now lie in bed with the dirty "jihadists" who helped sponsor 9-11, who gave cover to Bin Laden, who supported the Taliban-Al Qaeda for years and who gave refuge to terrorists.
As I said earlier on this thread, there is going to be an additional 45-day evaluation period while the critical aspects of this deal are fully reviewed. Also DPWorld said they will create an American "buffer" company that will actually run the commercial operations until May, during this interim period. At least some action is being taken in WashDC. Thankful for that. OTOH. Some people remain stuck on stupid. Its a way of life for them.
