He was a great comic. Mr. Limpet, Barney Fife and then finally Mr. Furly from Three's Company, my favorite TV show growing up.

Don't forget the Apple Dumpling Gang movies with Tim Conway - they were hysterical. I can't think of anything he was in that wasn't. RIP, Don.

I am truly sad about this. The Andy Griffith Show was a nightly experience for me growing up. It would come on TBS about suppertime (dinnertime for our northern brethren). There will never be another show that approaches comedy in quite the same way. Also, it wasn't just popular in the South. It was a slice of Americana.
