are there any kinds of donations that ARE legal?!

I think this is what campaign finance reform gets us. Everything is escalated to "illegal" so that the public gets the impression of growing corruption, and faith in the system falls ever faster. When in truth, it's not any more corrupt than it's always been. Thanks McPain!

If you have big money like Soros you can start an outfit like Move-on and spend anything you like.

Boy have you hit the nail on the head!!

The entire system sucks! Get rid of all the rules and regulations of fundraising and let politicians get as much money as they want from individuals & businesses, as long as there's full disclosure and the money isn't from foreign sources or felons.

Clinton and Gore received millions from the Red Chinese and no one bats an eye. The double-standards and hypocrisy is unbelievable.

The Rats have a score to settle with Rep. Harris over the 2000 election.

I'm afraid that you have put that in the wrong context.
Which is not surprising seeing how much people still do listen to the antique media.

Speaking as a Floridian, it is WE who have a score to settle over the 2000 election and we have never forgotten how we were dragged through the mud by the dems and the 5th column.

So, Janet Reno was going to be the next governor? We wiped her off the books.
Kerry had an even shot at taking Florida? Wiped him off the books.

Nelson, the last dem from Florida wants to retain his seat? We will crawl over broken glass to kick him out.

"Nelson, the last dem from Florida wants to retain his seat? We will crawl over broken glass to kick him out."

Exactly . Couldn't have said it better myself . It's imperative to defeat Nelson . The DUngers plant these stories to gauge our dedication to electing Conservatives . They will surely be disappointed as we turn out the vote for Harris .

The reason that it is difficult to defeat Nelson in FL is that he went into space, and most Floridians think he is somewhat conservative. Remember, Reagan said that in politics "perception {even if false} is reality" for the masses.

She already got rid of the money - gave it to charity. This isn't new.

I didn't know that. You know, if someone runs over a dried dog turd with a lawn mower, it is still going to stink in a whiff of white smoke. Dragging up ol' stuff and posting it here does a huge diservice.

It would be nice to have a few more senators looking like that, instead of landreiu and clinton.

I agree , it will not be easy at all. I've found that it's extremely difficult to unseat Democrat Senators in Florida for various reasons .
Graham was unbeatable , but I can't say the same for Nelson . Harris needs to get him in as many televised debates as possible . Nelson comes off as a simpleton (and not in a Reaganesque way)and for obvious reasons it will work against him . He can be defeated .

pardon me, LOL! :)

The reason that he is hard to beat is that he runs an excellent party machine, and the 5th column is solidly behind him.

Could anyone else but Jeb, beat Nelson?

I am not sure she can do it...even before this!

It took the "big guns" a long time to even give her a token approval to run. There were several who wanted it instead of Martinez...now they are all quiet!
