Do You Know An Unlikely Hero?

Do you know someone who did something incredibly brave in the face of danger and became a hero? Do you know someone who is an unlikely hero? Do you know a person who risked their life for someone else? Do you know a mom who saved her own child or another woman's child? Do you know two people who were at odds and one saved the other's life? Do you know someone who scared off her attacker? Do you know a child who saved someone's life? The Oprah Winfrey Show is talking to Unlikely Heroes. Please tell us your incredible story and include as many details as possible --including the name of your hero. Do you know a true hero?
Maybe a teacher, friend or acquaintance did something remarkably courageous for you and you haven't been able to thank them? Perhaps a neighbor risked his or her own life to rescue you from a dangerous situation? Maybe he or she was there when you crashed your car and pulled you to safety? Maybe you were rescued from your burning home? Did your neighbor raise money for your family when he or she found out your child was sick? Or did your neighbors, out of the goodness of their hearts, fix up your home after they noticed it deteriorating?

Or, did your friend, sister, husband, wife or parents do something extraordinarily heroic? Maybe one of your loved ones did something unbelievably brave and courageous? Maybe they risked their own lives to help someone? Perhaps your family member or neighbor was the eyewitness to a crime and helped crack the case? Maybe he or she saw someone drowning and jumped into a dangerous situation to save them? Perhaps they even went as far as risking their own lives to do the right thing? Perhaps he or she witnessed an accident and were able to help keep the victims alive until help arrived? Maybe your loved one found lots of money or jewelry on the street and turned it into police instead of keeping it for yourself?

The Oprah Winfrey Show is looking for people who are heroes in their own neighborhoods or people who've done something extraordinary for their loved ones. If this describes someone you know, we want to hear your story!
