Dittos......the WH communications have never been on top of a story....they are always playing defense with issues....after 5 years they still don't get it in that department...I get so frustrated with them....grrrrrrrrrr!

And that is the crux of the problem here. If Bush would explain things thoroughly he wouldn't have to play catch up 2 weeks later all the time. Snow is dead on. I have been hearing conflicting stories by the likes of Hannity, King, Savage and more. In my opinion Snow is handling it better.

I know...wouldn't this "story" been a whole lot different if Tommy Franks had been on the talk show circuit about last Friday when this broke? We do need to fix the WH Press Operation. Thank God for Tony.

And thanks, Tony, for at least dangling the question about the GOP nomination to him. I guess if we want him, we'll have to draft him, and I don't know of too many drafts which really work.
