This does not explain why Muslims are killing other Muslims and why a bunch of Muslims just blew a sacred mosque in Iraq to smithereens.

It's pretty straightforward. They hate us so badly, they'll kill anyone who has anything to do with us, or anyone who doesn't kill us as quickly as they would--given the chance. Their supreme Ayatollahs have scolded them for this, and they are always working to unify their hatred in one direction--towards us.

The question that cinches it is this: there is no Muslim majority country that allows religious or political freedom for the minority. We are fighting for a lost cause if we believe we can allow Islam to stand side by side, on an equal footing, with democracy. It can't be done.

Well then by your logic we are doomed unless we subjugate the entire Islamic world to our religion and way of life. We can't just ignore them so our only option is to enslave the Muslims and take away their religious freedom and self determination. Do you think that's what America is all about?
