No foreign company/country should have control over any part of our national security.

No foreign country will. The US still controls the security. US union dockworkers will still be working the docks. Nothing changes, except the workers ultimately report to a Dubai business firm.

Then where would the worker's loyalties lie? Who said that the new owner will still use US dockworkers?

I think all those workers are security cleared. I doubt they report to *the company*. That company may sign their paychecks, but I think union rules have union supervisors in charge of the heavy equipment operators. The supervisors would have to interact with management. There are a lot of Americans in management at this company.

I could be wrong on that part of it, though.
