Anyway there are enough Republican LEADERS who do NOT believe this is "good for America", I have never seen party members so adamant to the point of threatening suing him for this.

I don't think the question is "how is this good for America." I think it's "can America be harmed by this."
The goverment in my opinion shouldn't be determining the viability of an acquisition on it's benefit to the country. However, if the acquisition in any way hampers our security, than gov't intervention is justifiable. I'm still waiting to find out if there are any security issues. Unless the facts show there are, than Bush is doing the right thing by staying out of it. Otherwise, opposition to this is a knee-jerk reaction based on fear without facts.
