It's only rhythm'n'blues and I like it, if for no other reason than because no one else plays it these days. And the parroted ageist one liners originally written by some hack writers for Hollyweird idiot box talk shows are still lame and still unoriginal. Enough already.

I saw them in Chicago in 1969 and they closed with Street Fighting Man.
I recited lines from Get Off My Cloud to a friend born after that Chicago concert--
Well I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor of my block
And I sit at home looking out the window imagining the world has stopped
When in flies a guy who's all dressed up just like a Union Jack
Who says I've won five pounds if I have this kind of detergent pack
And I said Hey hey You you Get off my cloud [etcetera]
And my friend was totally blank.
Satisfaction kicked it off--and set the stage for CSNY to remind the hippies to love the one you're with--now that has led to the whatever generation and the show about nothing.
The significant fact would be the Dylan-Zimmerman line it isn't right you shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you.
Hence the Densacrats with no agenda but to set fire to their guitars.
James Dean lived fast died young and left a mangled corpse.
The Rolling Stones have done all that except for the dying part.

No. You will listen to the Stones and you will enjoy it. The only music you're allowed to ignore in America is Christian or Gospel music. That's acceptable. But you WILL listen to the Stones.
:-) HA!

Never been a fan of old school. I've got a lot of good bands I'd still listen to but out of principle, can no longer financially support. Greenday and Offspring for instant. Those guys are still cool, too bad I can't buy their workis anymore. :(
Sigh.

Hi Revolting Cat!-
It is truly embarrassing how hundreds of FReepers can't recognize this is meant purely as a joke. Responses are continuing to be posted as if this was a serious article. I'm dreading the thought that some liberal site will get a hold of this thread to illustrate how conservatives can be such simpletons. Perhaps if the handful of us who clearly see that it is satire keep repeating this fact...it will eventually sink in!

Is Geddy Lee still so ugly only his backside is shown, lol? I recall seeing them circa late 70's a couple times.
And Rio? Queen's rendition in 1985 of 'Love Of My Life' with a chorus of a 1/4 of a million singers won't be repeated in our lifetimes.
