I guess we don't have anything to worry about after all. Muslims in Dubai are just like Christians in America. You can tell this is true because city buildings and streets in both places look similar.

BTW, it is permissible to openly practice Christianity in Dubai, right? Or atheism for that matter?

What needs to be outlawed is not Islam, but every practice associated with Islam that undermines western law and culture. And there is no moral equivalence between western traditions of law and culture and Islamic traditions of law and culture. The former tends toward freedom of thought and self-actualization, the latter toward crippling of thought and the hamstringing of the individual in the name of Allah.
