I guess we don't have anything to worry about after all. Muslims in Dubai are just like Christians in America. You can tell this is true because city buildings and streets in both places look similar.
BTW, it is permissible to openly practice Christianity in Dubai, right? Or atheism for that matter?
Why don't you emigrate to Dubai and send us back progress reports so we can judge for ourselves?

I doubt if it is permissible to openly practice Christianity there. Atheism has no practices, so it's not really a question.
I have no desire to go to Dubai. I lived in Turkey, courtesy of the USAF for 15 months, and don't want to go back there, either.
The point was that the Islamic world is not all a bunch of stone-age idiots. Indeed, we do a LOT of business in this country with the Islamic world. A LOT!

What needs to be outlawed is not Islam, but every practice associated with Islam that undermines western law and culture. And there is no moral equivalence between western traditions of law and culture and Islamic traditions of law and culture. The former tends toward freedom of thought and self-actualization, the latter toward crippling of thought and the hamstringing of the individual in the name of Allah.
Google 'Shinto'. The question is not whether or not Islam is a religion (it is, even if it is a death cult) - the question is whether or not its practitioners are afforded 1st Amendment protections. The litmus test is fealty to the Constitution. Others have mentioned sedition - we also have treason if linked to war making powers of foreign governments based on a hostile religion.
The US has already been through this with Japan. As the heat gets turned up against the muzzies, we can be certain that the SC will be going back to the 40s as guidance.

At some point; Muslims will outnumber Christians and Jews in this country. Does anyone REALLY believe the Muslims will allow those minority Christians and Jews (our children and grandchildren) to practice their religious beliefs under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution?
