No, in fact he was Repub counsel to one of the Commitees that investigated the klintons.....whitewater, etc, I think.

Isn't Chertoff a clinton hold over? Someone told me he was just one of those CFR Marxist types that envision themselves as socialist administrators of the planet. They seem to surround the presidential caricature no matter what party sign gets tattooed on it's but.

Hmm. Clinton holdover?
The position he holds didn't exist under Clinton. Besides, I think the next time a cabinet level position is held over from administration to administration will be the first.
