I see it includes Muhammad's assassins' murder of the poetess that
dared to mock him.
I'd just read about that maybe two weeks before the cartoon war
broke out (in "Jihad In The West" by Paul Fregosi).
Hearing about the reaction to the cartoons, I could only think,
these guys are just as humour-challenged as their founder was 1400 years ago.
Talk about a bunch of sticks in the mud.
Or rather, in the sand in many cases.
