You know, this year there is a verrrrry good chance that BabyChick and I will be in California for the picnic. Unfortunately, Mr. Chick will be deployed again...actually, fortunately for our country, but unfortunately for us. We miss you all tooooooooo much for words!

I am so happy that you might be able to be with us for the picnic, but, as you know, so very sad that Mr. Chick is being deployed again so soon after coming home from Iraq.

I have asked the keepers of the military prayer list to put you both back on the list. I hope that everyone realizes how difficult these deployments are on military families. But I know that you both are handling it as well as can be expected, and with the knowledge that it is necessary and important that he go.

Hate to hear that Mr Chick is being sent back but we are so proud of him and the rest of our military. Do you know when he will be leaving? You and your family will be in our prayers.
