"Can you post the song's link here?"
Um, well, it is playin' in my head, but maybe if I can get this patch cable in my ear... :-)
However, try
this.

Thanks for the pings! Reading the chilling reports, one has to wonder how much was stopped by people who love America, but don't want to dance in the spotlight, because it would endanger them and the people they work with? The things that the left could never think of, let alone understand...
Makes my latest tagline all the more relevant.

Man, I am in a serious '80s mood. I miss the old days of MTV when they actually aired music videos. I wanna see the classic ZZ Top, Eurythmics, etc. videos.
Damn, I wish that I had a time machine tonight.

Oh man! That brings memories to the fore!
Geez, I remember the video. I also have the Weird Al parody - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

lovely meg.. the wine cups look like they are in poppy family. I surely miss flowers.. there were a few dandelions peeking out after our few mild days.
Busy last night at singles thread. Lots of activity. Tonight's pinger/hostess, Ozarkgirl, is trying to learn to post pix. man, I remember how frustrating it was to learn that etc.. Now we have new things with HTML to be frustrated with don't we?
I got to bed about 3:30 & when I took dog out for the last walk, it was cool but dry. Woke up at 8 to 4" of snow & more coming down. Had a 45 min AM walk with dogs with wind chill WAY below zero.. Always feel good after an outing.
Saw movie Pink Panther yesterday afternoon.. it was light entertainment.. & my date's choice. Glad I saw it but will NOT be among the big movements in cinema history, for sure.
Need to tackle day..

Inside Out
[Jesus] said, "What comes out of a man, that defiles a man." Mark 7:20
|
While giving a sermon, missionary Hudson Taylor filled a glass with water and placed it on a table in front of him. As he was speaking, he pounded his fist hard enough to make the water splash onto the table. He then explained, "You will come up against much trouble. But when you do, remember, only what's in you will spill out."
That's worth thinking about, isn't it? When we are mistreated or misunderstood, how do we respond? With loving words, patience, and kindness? Or are we inclined to retaliate in anger?
In Ephesians 4:25-32, we see the contrast between what a person is before he is saved and what he is afterward. When we live under the control of the Holy Spirit, we will show it by the way we react to the jolting trials and temptations of life. How we respond to trying, embarrassing situations that are suddenly thrust upon us is a good test of how much we have grown in grace.
It is possible to suppress frustration and anger, and to appear undisturbed to people around us. But if our heart is full of the Savior's love, we will respond to the jostling of an unexpected trial with genuine patience and kindness. Like a full glass of water, what's inside of us will spill over on the outside. Richard De Haan
Lord, help me flee all sin and shame,
Lest I disgrace Your holy name;
And may I live so others see
The Savior's love revealed in me. D. De Haan
When trouble grows, your character shows.

Glad you had some amusement..
I've pulled quite a few dandelions..They are vying with the wild violets to take over the beds.
I am putting off going outside and its only in the 40s LOL!
Maybe that is one reason I have cats..They don't need to be walked. ;)
My big success is getting one of the kittens to go to sleep on my lap.. They stopped doing that when the got older. My main lap sitter is the largest kitten and he is the size of an adult. I have a lot of typos when they decide to join me.
Glad your Singles thread is doing well.
