Great comments and research. Wonder if there's a chance of stirring up Congressional members about this? Surely they too would consider this a threat to their families and country.
The Feds are most likely watching these compounds. But in the meantime they are thriving.
Yep, yep & the government wants to sell a port in Pennsylvania to the United Arab Emirates. Are we insane, or what?
Lori, I hope you're right. However the administrations track record on border security does not inspire confidance. The president seems to be more concerned over the presence of citizen "vigilantes" (i.e.,Minutemen) on the border than he is with illegal entry by terrorists. If he or his chief of homeland security Cherkoff have any serious concern over terrorist entry through our porous borders, they've kept it hidden from me.
If you are in possession of any reassuring information to the contrary that you could share on this subject without revealing anything sensitive, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Right now, based on what I see, in the event of a showdown with the internal terrorist threat I do not have a warm feeling that federal law enforcement policy will be supportive of the citizens.
Keep your eyes and ears open, and your powder dry.
If I had one sure I would use it! LOL
LOL cool, I would love that on my front law. My dad would always say he wished he had a Sherman Tank for a car. As you can see that is where I get my hostility from!
Thanks.
Re your sat image on 102..
The duck-foot shaped clearing in the upper right looks like it might be a firing range.
And what are the paved-looking strips towards the bottom of the frame?
They almost look as if they could be used for airstrips for at least light private aircraft or crop dusters.
I wonder if any of the locals have observed any planes flying in and out of there?
There is a "lover's lane" parking lot in our town, that the Police pretty much leave alone - they say that it helps to keep the local yahoos pretty much together in one place where the Gendarmes can keep a discrete eye on them, as opposed to having them burning rubber and raising hell all over town.
Hopefully the "Faithful" will rediscover (as I suspect many of them were familiar prior to "conversion" to Islam) the joys of hasheesh and crack, and dope themselves into a state of tactical insignificance.
Then again, most of the human Islammobombs in the ME are found to have high concentrations of narcotics in what's left of their tissues. And when we're dealing with people this crazy, having a brilliant strategy may not be all that much of a concern to them.
And I fully concur that the blatent incompetence and total lack of leadership by our political hack buffoons like Shurkoff in the recent hurricaine fiasco leaves us with little confidence in our government's ability or will to protect us from domestic jihaddistan, and surely bolters the cutthroat's confidence.
The recent sellout of port security to the Arab Wahabbi is just one more chink in America's armor.
They have, no doubt, been watching our failures and blunders closely - and taking notes.
Re your #103:
"Buses make handy barricades when needed..."
I would not worry about the bus nearly as much as the command det IEDs in and along the entrance road, frankly.
Even sending in an M-1A would not be a risk free endeavor.
I would at least send in an A-10 Warty or two to plow the road and 20 ft. of either side up with 40MM before trying it.
Heck, they could probably blast a whole new road in a matter of seconds.
And if helos are used, watch out for the RPGs, fellas.
Who knows what else they might have in there?
Going in without rock solid intel and coordination would surely be a "fool's errand", and could quickly escalate to all out domestic war.
These guys, I suspect, are no Branch Davidians.
And that may be why the Feds are keeping their distance.
Re your #126:
"...collect enough evidence to get them all on treason..."
When was the last time anyone was even tried for treason, much less convicted?
As long as Komrade Klinton is running around loose, no one need worry about being bagged for "treason", IMHO.
Re 138:
"These camps would make worthwhile spots for "eminent domain"."
Dream on.
More likely, the feds will confiscate the local resident's land to give to the ROP summer-camp so that they can expand their operations.
I may be a dreamer, but I'm still hoping Slick will get his.
Bump that....
"The report noted the property is near the Cannonsville Reservoir and Watershed Area, one of several water supply sources servicing New York City and adjacent areas. "
Boy...they are in for a shocker if they attempt to launch any attacks from this area. I spend a good amount of time in a neighboring town during deer season and suffice it to say that there is a very large number of heavily armed patriotic Americans in the area.
You have to rememeber, it has taken years for the FBI to infiltrate and track what the Eco-nuts of ELF and ALF have been doing across the western US. The entire time, they never mentioned enviro-nazism as a group they were focused on.
I imagine the same is going on now. Let them think everything is normal, nothing to see here safe, and then hang them when the time is right.
We need someone in the White House who thinks like Genghis Khan and not like Mr. Rogers.
I wish for daisy cutters.
