If we as conservatives can't let a snide remark like this slide, how can we defend the next republican who makes an off the cuff remark when the Dems start harping. I understand and agree that what happened to Rush and Lott were stupid (neither of them should have lost their jobs), but just because the dems cry and are sensitive dosen't mean we have to do the same.
You are completely missing the point. Small comments from conservatives or Republicans like Rush or Trent Lott are blown way out of context and obvious racist comments by liberal ARE COMPLETELY IGNORED.
