PBS documentary "Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet"
I'm suprised that they offer this DVD.
When it aired on PBS (as a bit of apologetics for Islam) soon after
9-11, I was suprised that even liberal Ken Minyard (talk show host
on KABC, Los Angeles) thought it actually revealed Muhammed to be a pretty
bad guy.
Personally, I thought it was interesting to see "The Prophet" shown
alternately as a bumbler in battle that had to be guided by his
subordinates, a killer, and simply a street-wise thug of the sand-dune.
And one that got ahead by sleeping with the boss (his rich wife).
After seeing that I realized how clueless the followers of Islam are
as to the moral deficiencies of "The Prophet" as some sort of moral guide.

The DVD will join the copy of the Koran that I received from CAIR a few months ago on my Islamic bookshelf, right next to "Why I am not a Muslim" by Ibn Warraq.

(If you are not disquieted by "One nation under God," try "One nation under Allah.")
