I see you haven't studied up much.
Check into NAFT, GATT (both of which he supports), FTAA (Hard core supporter), His desire to create a EU style arrangement with the Americas with the US dollar as the common currency. (although we've not heard too much about this lately). Whew! man I could go on and on, but FTAA competely explains his refusal to protect our southern border.

You also have been around here long enough to know that throwing insults around is a tactic usually made by those who know they have no basis for their position.

Belief in Free Trade is not "globalism" but the understanding of all who have studied economic theory. Nor is making treaties with other nations to implement such a policy "globalist." They have been done since 1796.

It is also false that he refuses to "protect" the border. Those who have an excessive concern about it simply do not understand the magnitude of the costs and requirements of closing it. They are living in a dream world were rhetoric overrules rationality.

Those who are so concerned about the border issue should wholeheartedly support the making of agreements which would help the economies of this hemisphere. Only if that is done will there be any lessening of the desire to come North. It is precisely the lack of growing economies which forces people to come here.

Yet there appears NO understanding of this simple fact among those in a state of hysteria about Mexicans.
