Condi's 'qualifications' are that she is a smart, black woman who never held elective office. Never mind that never having run for office means she has no clue how hard it is to run, that she has NO INTEREST in the job - for the very good reason that she is completely unsuited to it.

Number two...My whole post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek...I'm sorry that didn't ring true to you. Of course I realize Rice has suggested she's not interested in the job. Although I disagree with you that she doesn't have a clue..Frankly the mantra that "one must have political experience" to run for office....falls on deaf ears.

never mind that she is a moderate who will make conservatives cringe when voting for her, and cringe further if and when her soft approach to Palestinian terrorists is extended to other issues like immigration, spending, etc. where for all we know she is no better than an average Democrat.

And when she loses to Hillary in a huge landslide, the Dems will simply gloat about picking the 'more experienced women' over the women who's never been in a single campaign.

I'm not convinced Hillary will be the Demo nominee. We can all speculate away...but it's a long ways away.
