I don't believe you are interested in looking at this situation in any way other than one that fits your own personal agenda.

I believe you are on the wrong Forum. This is Free Republic, NOT DU.
Most of us here don't cater to conspiracy theory. And, by the way, you need to go to The Corpus Christy news registry for more information. The incident was reported and investigated by local authorities within an hour of the incident. The investigating officers determined that there was no alcohol involved.
And don't even try to make the claim that the local Sheriffs office helped the Vice President cover up any details.

He said a roughly 5 mm piece of shot became lodged in or alongside Whittington's heart muscle...5 mm birdshot? Guess again, CNN idiots.

Cheney now admits he consumed beer at lunch, then went out hunting. He was SUI...shooting under the influence & this reflects poorly on his judgment. We will now be shown images of a sloshed Cheney only one heartbeat away from his finger on the nuclear trigger.
Sorry, I can no longer defend his conduct. He's got to go...recommend Condoleeza Rice for next VP...

"I believe you are on the wrong Forum. This is Free Republic, NOT DU."DU bans anone who posts a point of view not in line with the DNC, I guess what you are saying is that FR is THE SAME as DU.
I have spent the better part of a decade working in many levels in support of this administration, I worked telephones, held up signs, and took to the streets in Miami and Palm BeaCh to stop Gore from stealing the election.
I've supported them steadfastedly for years.
Regardless what moonbats like yourself believe...I'VE EARNED THE RIGHT TO TELL THEM WHAT I THINK ABOUT THEIR ACTIONS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU AND EVERY OTHER AUTOAPOLOLOGIST IN THIS SITE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE, THINKS SO SO OR NOT.
And if Dick Cheney was standing in front of me right now, I'd tell him the exact same thing.

"I don't believe you are interested in looking at this situation in any way other than one that fits your own personal agenda."My personal agenda is the continuing well-being of my Party and this administration.
Note that the administration comes second after my Party.
The scale has tipped to the negative side on Cheney, he is now more of a hindrance than an asset.

Nonsense. An accident happens and Cheney is "now more of a hindrance than an asset". It's a good thing the American public isn't as short sighted or cynical.
You need to lighten up. Life's too short for this silliness.

The funny thing is that the presss thinks Cheney should have called them before calling an ambulance or the police.
If they would have hounded Clinton for his issues like this we might not have had 9/11.

The accident happened at 5:50 that afternoon. Your charge of SUI is preposterous.

It was unfortunate that Dick Cheney had to go and shoot a lawyer. Really.
He gets a lot of criticism for waiting several hours to tell the public about it.
I wonder how it would be if he were a Democrat, would he have spoken up any quicker?
This items looks at that possibility.

And further, there were a dozen witnesses as to how much he had to drink at lunch.
