The question in my mind is not about muslims, but how true islam can co-exist with other faiths, as it would depend on how much of it's rules (sharia - blasphemy, dhimmitude etc) are introduced or are in conflict with civil codes.
When they introduce elements of sharia in their nations or call for it in the west to protect "blasphemy," bear in mind what they consider blasphemy and "offensive to islam":

Slippery slope into dhimmitude... Next they'll be asking for an increase in payments of jizra from the dhimmis as non-payment will "offend" them and more rioting will follow, and then move onto making new demands so we can fit in to their world view...

If we don't believe that Moslems can live in peace with all the rest of us, then why are we democratizing Iraq (quite successfully)
Attempting to exploit the many divisions within the ummah and helping turn the course of the civil war within islam to our (and their own) long term advantage, perhaps?
Do you understand what the self declared "true believers" believe islam is destined for? The ummah splitting into 73 sects only one being true, the others 72 apostates to be sent into the fire? The ideological reasoning behind their inter sect wars from the time of the Khawarij splintering off. Nobody gets muslims killed better than their own.
