Amir Taheri is an Iranian born journalist, based in Europe. He contributed to a wide variety of media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, The Guardian, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and a number of other major media outlets. He is also the author of several books, about Islamist Terrorism and the Middle East, such as "Holy Terror ," chosen as one of The Best Books of The Year in 1988 by Publishers' Weekly.
