Well, to follow the logic of some on that lengthy "guns at work" thread, the argument would be that, since these people accepted the terms of employment when they took the job at this company, this is perfectly within the company's rights chip them like livestock.
Hell, if the company wanted to vivisect them, that would be A-OK, since they knowingly signed on the dotted line.
