I honestly don't remember, but I doubt it. We probably went to the cafeteria kitchen to get it, but bringing a big baggie of sugar probably wouldn't have been that big a deal, unless we tried to sell it as cocaine. On the other hand, that same year, I brought a shotgun and shells to my speech class, when we have to give a 5 minute lecture on "doing something." Mine was gun safety. I had to leave the shotgun and shells in the school office, and went to get it before class, then returned it after class.

Oh yeah... Pretty much everyone in my class carried a knife on their belt too.
