Please get this straight. My 'dislike' of Ann occurred when SHE behaved like an elitist boor. I used to respect her. Maybe if she reads enough comments from the thousands of people like me who thought she was WAY out of line about Miers, she'll think twice about attacking a person's character when she hasn't got a clue as to what that character is.
I don't want to 'drum' her out of the Conservative movement. I want her to behave responsibly as a conservative ought to. Say whatever she wants........as long as it is ACCURATE, and without uncontrolled emotions.
She didn't do that with Miers. GET IT Why are still bringing this up? Miers is over and done with. Coulter and Co. were right, Bush was wrong. And Coulter doesn't give a damn what you or I think. ??
If you like Tucker Carlson, and think conservatives should walk on egg shells to avoid offending liberals, thats your right. Coulter think differently, thank God. I'll take her over a Girly-boy like Goldberg or Lowry any day of the week.

You told me I shouldn't speak here because I no longer respect Ann Coulter...........(and I did, trust me..........I DID). You want only those who like Ann to post on threads about her..........how is that a 'strawman hyperbole?' IS this a fan club? Or is it a discussion forum?
And why shouldn't I address the reason that Ann lost me as a reader and supporter? She has lost a lot of people like me because of her injudicious and emotionally charged attacks on Harriet Miers.
I expect Conservatives to be thoughtful and accurate, and ANN WAS NOT.

I bring all of this about Ann up because character matters to me. What I saw in Ann, and have seen since, is a lack of character. I have seen 'look at me' attention grabbing hyperbole directed at fellow conservatives. I prefer thinking conservatives.....rational conservatives.......decent conservatives. Ann no longer qualifies, IMO, and that, sir, is relevant to THIS thread...... and no attempt to silence me by an ann-fan will succeed.

I've never tried to silence an opponent of George W. Bush (other than obvious DU trolls), yet you have tried to silence me........ THAT is the connection.
