This was already posted yesterday. But he really is just as out of touch as his daddy. The guy moves to Las Vegas in 2003 and he already thinks he knows Nevada well enough to be our Senator. Not only is he a maroon, but his arrogance is stunning. He must be a really good liberal because he apparently knows what is best for us even though he just got here!!

Ensign is going to crush this bozo just like he crushed the ambulance chaser they put up 6 years ago. The secret is that none of the major industries are going to make any kind of effort to help Carter. He will be running a campaign essentially on his own. Even the AFL-CIO will not put all their eggs in that basket.

He might do OK. He's got the media's attention, and just like Jim Gibson (Republican Jim Gibbons opponent for you non-Nevadans), he's an inexperienced novelty candidate. But I think he'll fail, like other carpetbagger, novelty candidates we've had (who was that guy that ran for governor, the producer of "Trading Places"....?).

Hey, Jimmy Carter was born and raised in Georgia, and the majority of Georgians wish he wasn't.
