Yet again. WHAT legislation has the Whine All The Time Hayworth offered up? He whines ENDLESSLY but DOES nothing. What good is the Co-Equal Congress if they can do NOTHING without the Executive holding their hands? Hayworth should quit whining and actually DO something.

ILLEGAL Immigration. THE issue that is going to keep a good President from being truly great.

yep. I use to defend Bush's WOT, but his desire to push more illegals through the gates makes me wonder about his true intentions on invading Iraq.

Another globalist proposal that threatens America's sovereignty is the Free Trade Areas of America or FTAA. Learn more

Rome's empire eventually fell to invading hordes and from disintegration from within.
It was a helluva ride here in the Americas.. but alas, history does appear to repeat itself.

Congress has already declared Bush's program DOA not only once but twice (Jan & Nov 2004). IT'S A DEAD HORSE, PEOPLE, YOU CAN STOP BEATING IT NOW! Hayworth and the rest of Congress need to get off their dead butts and pass something they can all agree on if they don't agree with Bush's plan. It is as simple as that.

Worked = Worker
Doing jobs Americans won't do. HA!!! More like, working for pay American's won't work for.

Are you denying his powers in War to close the borders to illegal immigration? Surely if he can listen to Al-Qaeda on the phone, he has the authority to use the military or federal forces to close the border.

Well, it's an interesting post, Rob, but we could probably do without the advertising and the links to buy this book. That would make it look less like flogging your own article, dontcha think?
Sorry, but spam is everywhere, and I don't expect to see ads here on Free Republic.

What in God's green earth needs to be discussed exactly. No program or bill needs to be put to a vote on this issue because the issue is clear. Simply enforce the present immigration laws.

Nothing can 'get done' without Congress feeling the heat. I think Hayworth is stoking the flames. We need more loud voices. Congressman Tancredo, who for years has been virtually the only voice speaking out on illegal immigration, has been trying to get the issue in front of the American people. But, there are powerful interests on both the right and left standing in the way of anything 'getting done'- including the president.

Hayworth Introduces 'Enforcement First' Immigration Reform Bill
Proposes Zero Tolerance for Illegal Immigration

JD Hayworth is an honorable man and an articulate speaker and I think he would make a great President. Perhaps you should do some more research before whining yourself.

He HAS done something. He introduced
H.R.3938 , Enforcement First Immigration Reform Act of 2005, on September 29, 2005.
Now you can stop spamming nearly every immigration thread with your factless rant about Hayworth.

You mean CFR's One Happy Hemisphere? With unrestricted travel and trade throughout the Western Hemisphere? CFR says to call all those aliens...'trusted travelers'. Of course they won't go home. Ever. But that's small potatoes in the scheme of things.

Hello, who do you think was pushing what did get thru the House in December ? Who do you think was instrumental in pushing thru the amendment for the border fence ? Did you read the interview ? He very specifically said that there were laws on the books NOW that could help stop the flood, but we aren't using them, and what's the use of passing more if the ones already there don't get enforced.
Why don't you help get people elected to Congress and the Presidency who want to stop illegal immigration instead of the RINOs we vote for now ? Why don't you support the types of politicians who will vote to enforce the existing laws and pass new ones to stop the invasion ? Do you give money to help them get elected, or volunteer in their campaigns ?
Maybe you do, but please don't slam one of the very few Congresscritters who is trying to get something done.

We don't need anymore legislation; we have more than enough.
We need the executive branch to actually enforce it.

Ummmm...ever heard of the Posse Comitatus Act? In a nutshell, this act bans the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines from participating in arrests, searches, seizure of evidence and other police-type activity on U.S. soil. The Coast Guard and National Guard troops under the control of state governors are excluded from the act. If you want the military (CG and NG) on the border, contact your Governor, don't bitch at Bush.
