"Reminds me of the guy who ran up against the "Nazi Homeowners" association that told him to re-paint his house from the list of "approved" colors when he painted his house a "un-approved " color. He did exactly as you said. He chose the most garish combination of "approved' colors and they couldn't say a thing !.........."




There's always a way. Another strategy could be to choose two "approved" colors and paint the building with diagonal stripes or polka-dots of those "approved" colors. Either would make the point clearly.

Of course, it would cost some money and you'd probably want to repaint again soon, but the point would be made.

Do it in one of the striped patterns that causes dizziness when you look at it.
