To: Arizona Carolyn

Backroom deals or not, none of them will get my vote unless they address and promise to do something about immigration that satisfies me, both legal and illegal immigration. That is why it's called a representative democracy and transfer our power to them - so they act on our behalf.

If they want address the critical issue facing our country, as usual, I'll cast my write-in votes.

I agree immigration is critical and McCain lobbied very hard all over the state last year against our prop 200 (which passed by a healthy margin and our dem governor has blocked from full-implemention while at the same time making a big deal of moving Nat. Guard to the border to up her re-election chances).... so we already know McCain would be as bad or worse than President Bush on the borders...

I want 3 - 5 candidates for us to all hear from and to hear from us and for us, not the RNC, to choose the candidate to run on the GOP ticket in '08... all indications are that choice is being taken from us and I don't like it.
