If somehow the conservative wing of the Republican party begins losing big I can only hope that the people of this country will recognize soon after their folly and return it to power.

Right on. They accuse Bush of taking a hard right turn soon after the "controversial" 2000 elections. If they get their way in 08 then with eight years of pent up anger , they will take the country off the edge of the earth. They want BLOOD. I cannot see that happen and just for that I will vote for whoever is the Republican nominee. If its McCain I will still vote for him, if not enthusiastically.
