Interesting analysis from Walters.  Republicans haven't had the majority of registrants since 1932.  Since there have only been 4 Democrats in the last century
to hold the Governor's office in California (Culbert Olson, Gray Davis, and a couple of Browns), that pretty much shows how ridiculous the argument is
that Republicans (in more than name only) can't win in California since Democrats have the majority.
